RUMIHURCO
Rumihurco is Rudimento's residency program in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Conceived as an extension of the gallery's curatorial practice, the residency offers artists the opportunity to work under a different set of conditions before returning to the exhibition space.
Over 28 days in the Amazon and a final week in Quito, artists develop their work while engaging with Rudimento's curatorial program. The residency does not propose a theme or a prescribed methodology.
Artists may continue an existing body of work, develop new work, or simply continue their practice under a different set of conditions.
The residency concludes with a curated exhibition at Rudimento in Quito.
